Having regard to the fact that the death of the father of the petitioner had taken place in the year 1997, this writ application filed after 11 years and that too keeping in view that the father of the petitioner was last posted at Jamshedpur, now in the state of Jharkhand, this writ application has to be held to be misconceived and ill advised specially when the case of the respondents is that the father of the petitioner was even not working on a sanctioned post and thus the petitioner was ineligible for appointment on compassionate ground in new Government policy dated 05.10.1991.

It is, accordingly, dismissed.
