JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-12-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 11.02.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 60381/ 2021.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that subsequently Similarly situated accused Bimal Singh has already been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this court vide order dated 12.07.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 37165/ 2020. Petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2020. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of the case, the period of custody of the petitioner and the fact that similarly situated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63026 of 2022(2) dt.21-12-2022 2/2 accused has already been granted bail, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K.
