That the petitioners above named pray for issuance of a writ preferably in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondents concerned to make payment of differential salary for the period 1.1.1996 to December, 2005 by virtue of promotion as Associate Professor/Reader as despite their promotion petitioners were paid
Patna High Court CWJC No.20964 of 2014(2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 the salary for the post of Lecturers. And/or any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioners are found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of this case."
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners had filed representations vide Annexure 2 series before the Registrar, B.N. Mandal University, Madhepura regarding the redressal of their grievances as mentioned above. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the petitioners, the respondent No.4 i.e. the Registrar, B.N. Mandal University, Laloo Nagar, Madhepura is directed to dispose of the representations filed on behalf of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of this order.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
