Keeping in view the fact that the appellant was registered for Ph.D. with effect from 2006 but the same was communicated to the petitioner-appellant on 10.2.2007 after the meeting of the Post Graduate Research Council was held on 22.1.2007, the learned Writ Court has directed the University to reconsider the matter and grant the benefit of extension to the petitioner-appellant after taking note of the period between July, 2006 to February, 2007 and the Writ Court

Patna High Court LPA No.2120 of 2015 dt.04-08-2017 2/2 has relegated the issue to be considered by the University. Taking note of these facts, we see no reason to make indulgence into the matter. The University shall take a decision in accordance with law.

The appeal stands disposed of.
