The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section7 of Essential Commodities Act.
As per prosecution case, on checking pickup Van of the petitioner ,21 quintals of rice packed in 42 plastic bags, on checking his shop 16 plastic bag of Shankar Brand rice and 8 empty bag of FCI were seized by the informant which was being used for committing black marketing of Government supplied rice by the petitioner.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be the dealer and the seized rice was purchased by him from Jai Baba Basuki Nath Traders and all are of Shankar Brand and was being carried in order to sale in the market. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let, above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Banka in connection with Suiya P.S.Case No. 18 of 2017.
