The petitioner seeks bail in Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 103 of 2013, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498 A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant-wife of the petitioner made allegation of demand of dowry and torture.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is still ready to keep his wife. At the time of hearing of the bail petition the learned APP was directed to ask the informant to be present in court, but the informant did not appear. The petitioner is in jail since 04.07.2014.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the

No.48145 of 2014 (3) dt.20-03-2015 2/2 petitioner has already remained in jail for about nine months, he above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 103 of 2013.
