02-11-2018 Since learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already appeared in the confiscation proceeding presently pending before the competent authority, this application is being disposed off with a direction to the concerned authority that in case the application seeking provisional release of the machines in question is filed within a period of 30 days from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of by a reasoned order within a period of 30 days from the date of filing of such application. If the application is not disposed of within the given period the petitioner will be at liberty to approach this court for appropriate relief.
This application stands disposed off.
