JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-02-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 24.02.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 45935 of 2021.

The trial court report reveals that charge has already been framed on 04.02.2021 and out of five charge sheet witnesses three witnesses have already been examined the case is fixed for prosecution evidence.

Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of the offence and progress of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2021, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably, within one year from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
