Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420,409,34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that being Mukhiya of the Panchayat he withdrew money of the Govt. Schemes of 5th and 14th Finance, however, did not complete the work. The enquiry report submitted by District Panchayat Raj Officer dated 16.12.2019 conducted alongwith the local people and local office-bearers enclosed with the second supplementary affidavit reveals that no anomaly was found in completion of any of the projects. Petitioner is in custody since 26.07.2019.

No.56452 of 2019(5) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 Considering the report aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Chhabilapur Police Station Case No.57 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
