2. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of dowry death. It is alleged that daughter of informant was married to this petitioner in 2019 and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, committed murder of daughter of informant.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case only because he happens to be husband of the deceased. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 12.02.2024. Moreover, change-sheet has

5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is the husband of the deceased and there is direct and specific allegation that he, along with other accused persons, committed murder of daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand for dowry.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the fact that the petitioner is husband of the deceased, who died in unnatural condition in her in-laws house within seven years of marriage, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
