JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 04-12-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for restraining the State Transport Authority and Regional Transport Authority from granting a permanent permit to the respondent no. 4 who has not surrendered the valid permanent permit already held by him.

2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states on instruction that the permanent permit has already been granted in favour of the respondent no. 4 during the pendency of the writ petition.

3. In the above view of the matter, the writ petition has thus become infructuous and is dismissed as such.

4. Needless to say, the petitioner shall be at the liberty to approach the authorities in the changed circumstances for redressal of his grievances in accordance with law.
