2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 2897C of 2022 for the offence under Section 498A of the I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution story, the complainant has alleged that her marriage was solemnised with the petitioner on 11.04.2021. After marriage, she came to her matrimonial home and started leading her conjugal life with her husband. After six months of marriage her in-laws started demanding Bullet Motorcycle, Golden Chain and Rs. 5,00,000/- cash from the complainant and after her refusal, the accused persons started torturing her mentally and physically.

Learned counsel for both the parties have jointly submitted that after prevailing the good sense, the matter has been compromised amicably between both the parties and the compromise petition dated 05.02.2025 has been annexed as Annexure 3 of the supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of petitioner. Both the parties are ready to live together as husband and wife.

5. Taking into account the fact that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties as also considering the compromise petition, this Court is inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail.

6. Let the petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Complaint Case No. 2897C of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
