2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):

(i) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/direction for commanding the Respondents to calculate and fix the salary of the petitioner in accordance with the Letter No. 2178 dated 27.02.2025 issued by the Finance Department, Government of Bihar, and to grant the benefit of Ist Assured Career

Patna High Court CWJC No.15004 of 2025(2) dt.14-10-2025 2/3 Progression (ACP) in the scale of 6500- ₹ 10500 (PB-2, GP 4800) and 2nd ACP in the scale of 10000-15200 (PB-3, GP 6600) ₹ with all consequential benefits including arrears of pay and pension fixation;

(ii) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/direction commanding the competent authority to revise and re-fix the pension in accordance with Memo No. 2178 dated 27-02-2025 and pay all arrears from the date of retirement along with interest as per applicable rule.

3. At the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he shall be satisfied if this Court passes an order directing the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department, Testing and Quality Control Division, Muzaffarpur to dispose of the pending representation filed by the petitioner dated 04.03.2025 as contained in Annexure-P/4 to this writ petition.

4. In view of the above, the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department, Testing and Quality Control Division, Muzaffarpur is directed to dispose of the pending representation dated 04.03.2025 (Annexure-P/4) within eight weeks from

5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
