2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:
(i) for quashing the order dated 06.3.2018 at Annexure-8 passed by the respondent No-2 by which the Misc. Ceiling Case No-641 of 1990-91 has been dismissed and dropped in the light of the letter No-252 (8)/R dated 21.3.2017 issued by the Principal Secretary,
Patna High Court CWJC No.20093 of 2018(2) dt.14-10-2025 2/3 Department of Revenue and Land Reforms Government of Bihar and the Bihar Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Ara and Acquisition of Surplus Land) Amendment Act of 2016 by which the provisions of Section 45 B of the said Act has been deleted;
(ii) for quashing of the Notification No-2488 dated-01.8.1986 published in the extra ordinary issue No. 14 of the Purnia district gazette at Annexure. So far it relates to the lands in question with a direction to the respondent No-2 to publish a denotification therefor;
(iii) for issuance of a direction to the respondent No-2 to consider the case of the petitioner on its own merits which has been pending for about twenty eight (28) years before him right from 1990;
(iv) for issuance of a further direction to the respondents authorities not to resort to dispossession of the petitioner from the lands in question till the disposal of the claim of

(v) for any other relief or reliefs as deemed fit and proper in the interest of Justice.
