The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application for quashing of the order dated 24/10/2014 passed by Commandant, Group Centre, Central Reserve Police Force, Rampur U.P. by which and where-under the proposal of appointment dated 10/6/2014 of the petitioner has been cancelled.
And further direction to the
Patna High Court CWJC No.18640 of 2015(2) dt.05-10-2023 2/2 Respondent Authorities to allow the petitioner to join on the post of Constable in Central Reserve Police Force."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
