1. It is contended by the petitioner that the petitioner had earlier filed an appeal, before the respondent no.2 on 08.05.2023, however, since the same was misplaced by the concerned department, he has again filed an appeal on 15.06.2023, as has been mentioned in the supplementary affidavit, receipt whereof has also been acknowledged by the respondents, hence the respondent no.2 be directed to dispose

Patna High Court CWJC No.13643 of 2023(2) dt.11-03-2024 2/2 off the same, within a stipulated time frame.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the aforesaid appeal is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the respondent no.2 to dispose off the aforesaid appeal dated 15.06.2023, filed by the petitioner, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
