This application is for grant of bail in Barachatty P.S.Case No.347 of 2016 registered for the offences under Seciton 8, 20 (kha), 11(ga), 22(ga), 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S.Act. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner had been rejected by this Court vide order dated 18.3.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.7966 of 2017 with a direction to the learned trial court to expedite the trial of the petitioner and now another bail application has been filed by the petitioner.

Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of 66 kg. of Ganja from the Bolero vehicle, in which petitioner along with others were traveling. In such view of the matter, there is no fresh materials available on the record.
