2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 379 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, it is alleged that on 03.04.2024 a call came on the mobile phone of father of petitioner from a mobile bearing Mobile No. 6201401028 and disclosed himself as Naresh Thakur Mukhiyaji and further said that his son is admitted in an hospital and asked to send Rs. 85,000/- on a Q.R. Code as his limited has expired and further promised to return the same at home. Thereafter, the said amount was sent by father of informant vide Transaction I.D. No. 410024171796 and later on it came to light that someone was impersonating Naresh Thakur Mukhiyaji on call and

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R.. It is further submitted that neither the mobile number in question belong to this petitioner nor any money has been transferred in his account.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner there is specific allegation that this petitioner has committed the alleged forgery. It is further submitted that petitioner has also got two criminal antecedents of similar nature.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and the fact that petitioner has got two criminal antecedents of similar nature, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
