JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 13-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, 55 pouches each containing 200 ml. country made liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused including the petitioners. Petitioners claim their antecedent to be clean and they are in custody since 29.03.2017. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31941 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 2 / 2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.D.J. IV (Special Court) Ara, Bhojpur in connection with Excise Case No.196/17 arising out of Ara (T) P.S. Case No.166/17.

Further, if the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
