Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 36 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 341,323, 498A, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 Dowry Prohibition Act.

Having regard to the fact that mediation failed and the husband-petitioner is not ready to keep his wife, the Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected. Interim order passed earlier vide order dated 23.10.2019 stands merged with the order rejecting his anticipatory bail.

In the event the petitioner surrenders before the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57420 of 2019(6) dt.17-06-2020 2/2 court below and pray for regular bail, the court below shall pass appropriate order without being prejudiced by the rejection of his anticipatory bail by this Court.
