The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chhatapur P.S.Case No.258 of 2016 registered for an offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 323, 324, 325, 307, 447, 380, 354, 504 and 506 of the IPC.

The informant in his written report has alleged that on 30.08.2016 when he was fencing his courtyard, altogether eleven accused persons including this petitioner armed with deadly weapon came and assaulted him. This petitioner allegedly assaulted Ramu Chaudhary, the son of the informant who came for his rescue. The injury report of Ramu Chaudhary has been annexed as Annexure-2 series.

On perusal of injury report, it appears that the said Ramu Chuaudhary sustained simple injuries caused by hard and blunt

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33994 of 2017 (2) dt.20-07-2017 2/2 substance. The petitioner is in custody since 09.05.2017. There is also a counter case from the side of the petitioner vide Chhatapur P.S.Case No.268 of 2016.

Learned APP opposed the submission.

Considering the nature of allegation, the prayer for bail is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM-IV, Supaul in connection with Chhatapur P.S.Case No.258 of 2016.
