The petitioner is in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 37(i) and (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amended) Act, 2018. Allegedly, it is a case of recovery of 17.97 liters of illicit liquor as mentioned in the impugned order from the house of this petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that he has no concern with the seized liquor and no any incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner as well as petitioner is in judicial custody since 13.06.2021.

The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Excise, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Chainpur P.S.
