This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Kanhauli Police Station Case No. 73 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 498(A), 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the parties have settled their dispute by process of mediation vide Mediation Proceeding No. 157 of 2017 before the Patna High Court Mediation & Reconciliation Centre, Patna. Hence, the petitioner deserves the privilege of anticipatory bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52508 of 2016 (4) dt.20-06-2017 let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi, in connection with Kanhauli Police Station Case No. 73 of 2016, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
