JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 10-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is contended that as per allegation, 17 bottles each containing 750 ml, 15 bottles each containing 375 ml and 80 bottles each containing of 180 ml of foreign liquor were recovered from the Maruti Suzuki Eeco of which the petitioner is said to be the driver. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 12.05.2017. No.34181 of 2017(2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Aurangabad in connection with Obra P.S. Case No. 86 of 2017 with a condition that one of the bailors will be the resident of Bihar since the petitioner belongs to Jharkhand. Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
