The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Kochas (Parsathua) P.S. Case No. 118 of 2018 registered under Section 392 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering that it is a case of highway robbery in which the informant was robbed of Rs.6,50,000/- by four unknown criminals and the name of the petitioners transpired in course of confessional statement made by co-accused, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected.
