2. The petitioner seeks bail in Jehanabad P.S. case No. 840 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 423, 467, 468, 471 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Prosecution allegation, in short, is that the accused persons, including the petitioner purchased land on the basis of forged and fabricated document.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is is bona fide purchaser and the absolute owner of the property

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74908 of 2023(3) dt.18-03-2024 2/2 and his name has been duly mutated in government records. The present is the case of civil dispute between the parties for which title suits are pending in the Court below. The petitioner is in custody since 27.06.2023 and has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the informant has no objection in granting regular bail to this petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, no objection from the informant and the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Jehanabad P.S. case No. 840 of 2022.
