1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "A. An appropriate writ, order or direction be issued, commanding the respondents specially the respondent No.4 to forbear from interfering in any way with the petitioners possession over S.P. No.533

Patna High Court CWJC No.16185 of 2024(2) dt.23-10-2024 2/2 and 534, area 4 Bighas, situated at Mauza-Kuari Madan.

B. An appropriate writ, order or direction be issued, commanding the respondent no.4 not to either cut away earth or fill-up R.S.P. No.533 and 534, belonging to the petitioners and not take any step to dispossess the petitioners from the said land."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
