JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 12-03-2015 A frivolous kind of writ application has been filed seeking a change in the session indicated in the final award of degree and marks for LL.B. The decision of the University is based on the regulation, which is quoted herein below:

"Fulfillment of conditions for Admission to the Examination

4. No candidate shall be admitted to;

(a) Law Examination Part- I unless he satisfied the conditions specified in Regulation 3 and has completed courses of study for one academic year in a college. (b) Law Examination Part- II, unless he has passed Law Part- I Examination and has satisfied the conditions specified in Regulation 3 and has completed courses of study for one academic year in a college.

(c) Law Examination Part- III, unless he has passed Law Part- II Examination and has satisfied the conditions specified in Regular 3 and has completed

Patna High Court CWJC No.1658 of 2014 dt.12-03-2015 2/2 courses of study for one academic year in a college. Provision- 4 (i) Provided that a student who has completed his lectures in Part I may complete a regular course of study of Part II but will not be allowed to appear at Part- II examination unless he has passed Part- I. (ii) Provided further that a student may pursue law study in final year only if he has passed Law Part- I examination and has completed lectures in Part- II. Such a student, however, shall not be allowed to take up the final Law examination unless he has passed Part II examination."

In view of the above, no direction is required to be given to the University contrary to the above regulation for change of the session.

Writ is dismissed.
