====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-12-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 498-A, 504, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Based upon the written report, the prosecution alleges that the marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with one Ranjeet Kumar in May 2023. However, while the daughter was carrying a pregnancy of eight months, her husband, namely Ranjeet Kumar, unfortunately died. On 24.06.2024, while the daughter of the informant along with her husband was going to some place, information was received that she was lying injured. She was taken to Naubatpur Hospital, from where she was referred to AIIMS, Patna, and her condition was found to be critical. Suspicion has been raised against all the family members, including these petitioners, of causing her death.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are none other than the married sisters-in-law of the deceased, and save and except suspicion against all the family members, there is no material suggesting their involvement in the crime. It is further submitted that neither was there any demand for dowry nor has any allegation of torture been levelled against the family members. In fact, on the fateful day, while the deceased and her husband were travelling on a motorcycle, they met with an accident, resulting in injuries to both. Subsequently, the deceased succumbed to her injuries. The husband of the deceased was also treated at AIIMS. There is no eyewitness to the alleged occurrence. A similarly situated coaccused, Mahewari Chaudhary @ Maheshwari Devi, carrying similar and identical allegations, has already been granted

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners is allowed.

7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioners be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-VI, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 352 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
