Limited prayer made in the writ petition is for direction to the respondent-Patna Municipal Corporation (for brevity, the Corporation) to dispose of the representation dated 04.06.2018 (Annexure 1) made by the petitioner. By the said representation, petitioner has claimed for certain benefits alleging that he is a permanent Safai Mazdoor in the Corporation. He is claiming the arrears of salary and other post retiral dues.

In view of the limited nature of prayer, no useful purpose would be achieved by keeping the writ petition

Patna High Court CWJC No.21224 of 2018(2) dt.31-10-2018 2/2 pending. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to respondent No 2 to take a final decision in respect of the claims made by the petitioner by Annexure 1 that is representation dated 04.06.2018. Respondent No 2 would be obliged to consider the same and dispose it of by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
