JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 20-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 27.02.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. 43645 of 2016.

It has been submitted that petitioner is husband of the deceased and he is in custody since 20.05.2016. A report was called for which has been received. It is mentioned in the report sent by Additional Sessions Judge-III, Katihar, that charge has already been framed in this case on 09.08.2017 and the case is pending for evidence. Therefore, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37348 of 2017 (3) dt.20-09-2017 2/2 Since the petitioner is in custody since 20.05.2016, the court below is directed to expedite the trial and make efforts to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
