The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 144 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 308, 435, 447 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is on Police Bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it appears that the matter is well covered by the decision of this Court in the case of Mahendra Prasad Singh Vs. State of Bihar, reported in 2004(3) P.L.J.R., 491.

In view of the above, it is directed that petitioner may surrender before the Court below within a period of four

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62765 of 2022(2) dt.09-01-2023 2/2 weeks from today. In case, petitioner surrenders and files an application for bail, the concerned Court will pass an order in the similar manner as has been decided in the case of Mahendra Prasad Singh (Supra).

With the above directions/observations, this application is disposed of.
