The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under Sections 20,22,23,24,27A and 29 of the NDPS Act.
From the possession of the petitioner one semi automatic pistol loaded with five live cartridges and from the dicky of motorcycle 2 Kg. Nepali charas was recovered. The report of the learned Additional Sessions Judge - V, Bettiah dated 3.7.2017 reflects that only I.O. and the informant of the case are left to be examined and the trial is likely to be concluded within three months.
Considering the advanced stage of the trial and the nature of recovery, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5734 of 2017(3) dt.13-09-2017 2/2 the petitioner. This application is, accordingly, dismissed. However, the learned trial court is expected to conclude the trial within the time frame transmitted to this Court. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) anil/- U
