The petitioner is seeking regular bail in Ujiyarpur P.S. Case No. 159 of 2016 registered under Sections 25(1-b) A/26 of the Arms Act.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in paragraph 3 of the application the description of only four cases have been given but in fact the petitioner is involved in altogether ten cases. It is further submitted that he is on bail in all those cases.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that as per the First Information Report, the petitioner was apprehended by police with a country made pistol and four live

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36339 of 2017 (2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 cartridges. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated by police in the present case. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent and as many as ten cases are there against him.

In view of the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner in the above mentioned case at this stage. The application stands dismissed. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) Dilip, AR U T
