ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 02-12-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that though the petitioner has made a representation/application for appointment of petitioner as PDS dealer on compassionate appointment, the authorities till date have not taken any steps to dispose off the said application or pass any order finding the petitioner as PDS license. Though, the petitioner has been doing the wrongs of the authorities/respondents and given several representations. There is no steps have been taken to consider the application of the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel on behalf of the respondents has stated that the direction may be issued to the authorities to

Having regard to the above made submissions, without going into merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed off with the direction to the Respondent No. 4 to consider the application of the petitioner on its own merits as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
