The petitioner is in custody in connection with Giriyak (Katarisarai) P.S. Case No. 259 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66 of the I.T. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.07.2019. He further submits that from perusal of the F.I.R., it would be apparent that on the basis of suspicion the petitioner along with other accused persons were apprehended and there is no material to constitute the offence of cheating in the instant case.

Case No. 259 of 2019.
