In the present case, petitioner has prayed for giving a direction to the Collector, Patna to dispose of the Appeal No.49 of 2015-16.

Petitioner was licence holder for running a PDS shop. On the complaint made by the consumer a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner and thereafter the Sub Divisional Officer-cum-Licensing Authority, Patna City has cancelled the licence of the petitioner vide memo no.23 dated 24.2.2016. Against that order petitioner has moved before the appellate authority vide Appeal No.49 of 2015-16 and the same pending for consideration.

Patna High Court CWJC No.19851 of 2016 (2) dt.09-08-2017 In such view of the matter, this Court directs, the Collector, Patna i.e. appellate authority to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if already not disposed of.

With the aforesaid observation this writ petition is disposed of.
