The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Aurangabad Town/Nagar P.S. Case No. 261/2018 (Corresponding to the G.R. No. 1597/2018), registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 304, 506, 302, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is of firing upon the head of the deceased, causing his death. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation is false and he is in custody since 19.07.2019. Charge has already been framed.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 59323 of 2019(3) dt.06-02-2020 2/2 Learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the submissions, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

This application is accordingly dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail, if the trial is not concluded within a period of six months.
