Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 325, 498A, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Petitioner is husband of the informant with allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same. Petitioner is ready for settlement of dispute.
Considering the undertaking of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on provisional bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Katra Police Station Case No. 32 of 2019, subject to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57609 of 2019(2) dt.19-09-2019 2/2 following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (b) Both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
(c) The learned court below shall take step for amicable settlement of dispute between the parties as both have lodged criminal cases against each other arising out of the matrimonial dispute and thereafter confirm the bail bond of the petitioner if the circumstances so requires.
