JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-10-2018 The matter has been notified in view of the administrative minutes of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. The present writ application has been filed for release of the husband of the petitioner, namely, Vijay Kumar who is a retired Assistant Engineer, Irrigation Department and has been forcibly taken away by four persons on 10.10.2018 at 2.00 P.M. from his residence at Mithapur, Patna. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that after due enquiry from various nursing homes and police stations, the petitioner came to know that her husband has been kept in Prisoners' Ward in Patna Medical College Hospital, Patna. The husband of the petitioner is not accused in any case. Considering the nature of prayer made, as prayed for, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to convert this application into a Criminal Writ Application and submit one more set of complete writ application.

Patna High Court CWJC No.20727 of 2018(2) dt.12-10-2018 2/2 Mr. Suman Kumar Jha, AC to AAG 3 submits that he will take telephonic instructions today itself from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna as well as Superintendent, Patna Medical College Hospital, Patna and file counter affidavit. In view of the issue involved, let the respondent authorities, particularly, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna take the needful action in the matter forthwith. Let this matter be listed before the appropriate Bench on 26.10.2018.
