There is no mystery involved with regard to the reason for non-appointment of the petitioner as a Constable. It is the case of category mismatch, emerging from the misdeclaration by the petitioner himself, against which quota he wanted to be appointed. Since there is no dispute on this aspect of the matter, no right in favour of the petitioner flows for a direction upon the respondents to appoint him in any category, much less the misdeclared category.
