15-09-2017 Heard Dr. Leelawati Kumari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anuj Kumar Srivastava, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 24-03-2017 in Obra P.S. Case No. 49 of 2017 registered for offence under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.

By way of referring to statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is having clean antecedent and on false accusation of recovery of country-made liquor to the tune of 180 liters, the petitioner was apprehended. It was argued that petitioner is innocent and he was travelling on the vehicle and he was not having knowledge about the concealment of such

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent as well as period of custody, let the petitioner namely Shailesh Kumar Ravidas @ Shailendra Kumar Ravidas be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Aurangabad in connection with Obra P.S. Case No. 49 of 2017.
