The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 30 (a), 38 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It is contended that as per allegation, 177 litres of foreign liquor and 47 litres of country-made liquor were recovered from the rented house of the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 14.05.2017.

Considering the facts and the circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34650 of 2017(2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 case, the petitioner, abovenamed is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Spl. Case No. 1622 of 2017 arising out of Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 129 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
