2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201, 34 IPC.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and the informant alleges that his daughter, who was married to Harish about two and a half years ago, after marriage, her husband used to assault her for dowry, accordingly, the victim often used to disclose about the torture being meted out to her by the accused persons for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rupees Five Lakhs, further, on 28.04.2024, the accused persons killed her and disappeared the deadbody.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

It is next submitted that informant is not an eyewitness to the occurrence. It is further submitted that petitioner is married 'nanad' (sister-in-law) of the deceased and lived separately. It is also submitted that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the F.I.R., it would manifest that the demand of dowry and torture against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature, though, thrust of the allegation is against the husband of the deceased. It is also submitted that Santosh Yadav along with two others had moved before this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No. 57915 of 2024 and the same was allowed by an order dated 13.11.2024 with respect to Santosh and Shobha as Ramnarayan Rai was arrested during the pendency of Cr. Misc. No.57915 of 2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60142 of 2025(2) dt.16-09-2025 3/3 each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 201 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of BNSS.

7. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands allowed.
