JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-05-2024 Heard Mr. Rameshwar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Sudhanshu Bhushan, learned counsel for the State and Mr. Bindhyachal Rai, learned counsel for the Accountant General, Bihar.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner seeks to file a representation before the appropriate authority for redressal of his grievance as prayed for in Para-1 of the present writ petition in light of the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Amresh Kumar Singh & Ors. Vs. State of Bihar & Ors. reported in 2023 SCC OnLine SC 496.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission made on

Patna High Court CWJC No.16810 of 2012(6) dt.09-05-2024 2/2 behalf of the petitioner, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Personnel), Bihar, Patna - respondent no.4 is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in light of the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Amresh Kumar Singh (supra) within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. In case, the case of the petitioner is not identical to that of Amresh Kumar Singh (supra) and other employees of the organization, then in that case, the petitioner must be afforded opportunity of hearing before passing any adverse order against him in accordance with law.
