The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) and 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 . It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 31.8.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17608 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 8.1.2020.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the liberty

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71764 of 2021(2) dt.05-01-2022 2/2 granted to the petitioner by the aforesaid order dated 31.8.2021 and the petitioner having remained in custody for about 2 years, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Goreakothi P.S. Case no. 44 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II - cum - Special Judge, Excise, Siwan.
