The petitioner seeks bail in Masaurhi P.S. case No. 320 of 2016 under Section 25(1-b) a, 26/35 of the Arms Act. Sri Yogesh Chandra Verma, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, submits that one loaded country made pistol was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 13.07.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than eight months but it appears that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in more than half a dozen cases.
Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
