Petitioner in this case has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with S. Tr. No. 97 of 2021 arising out of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 289 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 304(b), 201 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. This Court has received a report from the learned trial court as to the present stage of the trial. It appears that the statement of the sole accused has already been recorded under Section 313 Cr.P.C. on 18.04.2023 and the case is fixed for defence evidence. The trial is likely to be concluded within four months.

In the aforesaid view of the matter, finding that the trial itself is going to be concluded within a period of four

This application is being disposed of with a direction to the learned trial court to conclude the trial within the aforesaid period, failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the learned court below. This application is disposed of accordingly.
