2. The petitioner seeks bail in Town (Darbhanga) P.S. Case No. 24 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-8(c), 21(c), 29, 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. Allegedly, 138.8 litres of cough syrup was recovered from a Bolero.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. As a matter of fact, the petitioner has got no concern with the consignment, recovered from the vehicle in the alleged

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68253 of 2024(2) dt.08-10-2024 2/2 occurrence but due to being owner of the vehicle, the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner is under incarceration since 04-03-2024.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, especially, the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-XI-cum-Special Judge, Darbhanga in connection with Town (Darbhanga) P.S. Case No. 24 of 2024 with condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the trial of the case and make himself available as and when required by the court. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
