The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 17.07.2017 in Nawada P.S. Case No.397/2017 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had let out his godown to one Sanjay Kumar and while the godown was in his possession, a raid was conducted and huge quantity of Indian Make Foreign liquor was recovered from the said godown. Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent, period of custody as well as the fact that the petitioner being owner of the godown has been made accused, let the petitioner, namely, Rakesh Singh @ Rakesh Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl.
